The Sales Support department supports the Direct Sales, Indirect Sales and International Sales departments by contributing to Sales goals and high customer satisfaction. These Sales departments are responsible for developing and retaining fan customers and fan partners, and increasing market share in the business market.

Sales acquires new customers and partners for our company, and maintains and expands relationships with existing customers and partners. The Sales Support department is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Strategic Account Managers.


A quick overview of your potential new job

  • Process and administer standard quotation requests, assignments, changes in accordance with established processes, and guidelines in the appropriate systems. Assist in the development of a customer request, including the establishment of a business case.
  • Proactively follow-up and monitor the turnaround times of requests (budgets, quotations and approvals), and ensures that the agreed processes are followed.
  • Provide support in the administrative processing of customer/account manager inquiries.
  • Is responsible for the contract and internal approval process.
  • Coordinate outstanding actions and monitor turnaround time for response to inquiries and requests. The Account Managers are responsible for the commercial part of the process.
  • Discuss with customers and/or partners quotations, offers and contracts based on established criteria.
  • Is the point of contact for existing Eurofiber customers.
  • Back up/replace Account Managers in their absence.
  • Check requests in the portal for completeness, and completes as needed through contact with the customer.

This is you

  • You work and think at a Higher Professional Education level.
  • You have at least 2 years of relevant work experience in the (Telecom) industry.
  • Commercial insight, customer-oriented attitude
  • Analytical skills
  • Very accurate
  • Excellent oral and written communication in Dutch and English.
  • Is capable of understanding the entire sales cycle for their own workflow and to act on it.

About us

The Sales Support employee is the link between the Strategic Account Managers, the Inside Sales Account Managers and the internal organization for all customer inquiries in the sales process and after the service is delivered. The Sales Support employee acts as a point of contact for existing customers and supports (administratively and operationally) the other departments within Commercial Services in achieving sales targets. In addition, they ensures the correct (contract) administration and supports the account managers. In this position, the Sales Support employee is the hub for all Eurofiber departments for sales-related questions. Of course, direct customer contact is also an important aspect of this position.
