A quick overview of your potential new job

In order to realize its strategic ambitions, Eurofiber is looking for a strategic/commercial Business Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding our market share in key business areas across Belgium.

You will get to know the market and the competition in these industrial zones and build new relationships with business park management organizations. You will manage the entire business development process in these zones by:

  • Identifying the parties of interest to Eurofiber;
  • Developing and organizing marketing and commercial actions to attract prospects in these zones to the Eurofiber portfolio;
  • Expanding campaigns with partners and direct sales colleagues to target these zones.

In addition to developing this market, your job will also be to monitor the results achieved per zone and define corrective actions where necessary, and support partners and direct sales colleagues in achieving our objectives for these zones.

  • You are analytical, highly entrepreneurial, and driven to create true added value for partners and clients. You are a goal-oriented, committed, and passionate individual who exudes optimism and persuasion.
  • You are driven by the combination of sales and strategy, do not shy away from making improvements in market approaches, and have a strong organizational talent.
  • You love to work with people and gain respect through accurate insights and a drive to achieve results together.

Your responsibilities

  • You map the industrial zone from A to Z. You identify the market and opportunities it presents, both now and in the future, in the industrial zones.
  • You develop the market approach of the industrial zones further by defining commercial and marketing activities, which you will then organize and follow up yourself.
  • You are always on the lookout for new opportunities to have new clients join the Eurofiber network. This is done in close coordination with the entire commercial team at Eurofiber: Marketing, Business Intelligence, and the Account Managers of both the Direct and Partner teams.
  • You support Partner & Direct Sales Account Managers in expanding the Eurofiber “share of wallet” in industrial zones and follow up on their actions in these zones.

This is you

  • You have at least 5 years of proven experience in a Business Development or a strategic sales role.
  • You are a reliable sparring partner and this aspect of your role energizes you.
  • You are able to think conceptually and spot opportunities to improve processes.
  • You are proactive and organized with sound verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • You can work independently.
