Job Description
As Business Controller you have a coordinating and supervisory role within the company and you monitor the business continuity.
- Financial planning and analysis: You are responsible for the coordination and preparation of Eurofiber Belgium's annual budgets and multiannual plans. You are also responsible for the preparation and clarification of the forecast as well as preparing Eurofiber Belgium's monthly reports on sales, turnover, expenses and investments.
- Business analysis: you analyze the performance of the various departments within Eurofiber, providing insight to improve performance and achieve operational objectives. You take, for example, an active role in monitoring the delivery team's results and forecast, which drive the company's revenue.
- Cost management: you identify and analyze cost patterns, you advise on cost-saving measures and efficiency improvements. You also prepare analyses and initiate measures to control the investment policy and cost structure of Eurofiber Belgium.
- You are responsible for the development of financial projects, such as the development of business cases, cost reduction projects, IT projects relevant to the finance department.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone who can undertake tasks with a high degree of independence and also enjoys being part of a bigger picture. You have the necessary technical knowledge and have an eye for commercial interests.
You have/are:
- a master's degree, preferably in business administration or business economics.
- at least three years of relevant work experience as a business controller, consultant or auditor.
- strong analytical skills and strong numerical insight;
- pragmatic and can translate business drivers into KPIs,
- an eye for efficiency improvements and cost savings;
- very hands-on while also capable of strategic thinking and advice.
- good knowledge of Dutch and English, both written and spoken and have a basic knowledge of French;
- strong IT affinity (Salesforce, Power BI, etc.);
- knowledge of taxation and BE GAAP is a plus.
