Job Description
As a Business Controller, you are responsible for advise on strategic financial issues and financially responsible for FttS (Fiber to the Site) and the monitoring of the costs of our sold projects.
You will do this through segment-wide analyses and projects that support the strategic objectives of Eurofiber (EF) . By creating value for customers, EF creates financial value. Insight into financial figures, KPI’s, an understanding of the overall EF strategy and a good relationship with the stakeholders are essential for this.
You will work on analyses, business and value cases mainly for the Netherlands and you are responsible for:
- Developing budgets for various organizational units, product lines, etc. based on prior period budgets, revenue estimates, expense projections, and recent performance.
- Strategic advice: You will contribute to (financial) analyses on topics of strategic importance to EF Netherlands and International.
- Analyzing variance from budget, identifying issues/trends, and forecasting annual results.
- Preparing monthly performance review reports about the performance on our sold projects, ITL Sales and FttS.
- Support the FD NL and ITL Sales controller with the EF NL and International Sales Performance reports and forecasts.
- Financially responsible for FttS (Fiber to the Site) and project control: Advice both Financial and operational managers on margins, cost and prepare budgets.
- Pricing and project control: Involved in the pricing of sales deals.
Supporting both the Group Business Controller Operations and the EF Netherlands Finance Director (FDNL) in achieving both the short and long term goals.
In this position, you report to the FD NL and work closely with the Business Controller NL and the Group Business Controller Operations.

Besides that:
- a completed Master's degree and at least 2 years of working experience as a Business/Financial controller;
- you are someone who wants to ‘build’, improve insights, and who likes to dig in the data to make analyses;
- you grab hold of things and don't let go until they are 'fixed';
- you are pro-active, and like to work with different (commercial) disciplines;
- you have a good knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint, thinkcell is a plus;
- you are fluent in Dutch and English;
- you have knowledge of the Telecom sector and that is a big plus.
