Then come and join our team as a Financial Accounts Receivable Officer (32-40 hours).

A quick overview of your potential new job

As a Financial Accounts Receivable Officer, you will be cleverly and commercially chasing down payments. Thanks to your customer-oriented attitude and good cooperation with the sales team, you will play an important role in customer satisfaction, which will result in timely payment of outstanding invoices.

This is a position in a driven finance team with an informal working atmosphere. You will report to and be supervised by the team lead of financial control. Your duties will include:

  • Ensuring that payment reminders are sent in a timely manner;
  • Answering and processing incoming messages from our customers by telephone and/or email;
  • You will be responsible for managing all outstanding accounts receivable and will take action when necessary:
  • Preparing (credit) invoices and processing bank transactions;
  • Preparatory work for the monthly and annual closing (providing specifications for the monthly and annual closing);
  • Support in preparing reports and providing insights to the management team.

Qualifications

You have/are:

  • at least an MBO level 4 diploma (financial administration) / Practical Diploma in Accounting and studying for an MBA / Modern Business Administration;
  • good written and oral expression skills;
  • strong administrative skills and good numerical insight;
  • a motivated team player with demonstrable work experience with accounting systems and Office packages (Afas is a plus);
  • a problem solver with the ability to work independently.
