Job Description
As the Group Business Controller Commerce you will be involved in both day-to-day tactical decision making as well as strategic projects. The Group Business Controller Commerce is responsible for improving commercial performance of the business by making ad hoc and recurring analyses, providing insights via (KPI) reporting and analyses of the performance. You also support the Group director Business Control in the process of the yearly Business Plan and several other projects and ad-hoc analyses during the year.
Responsibilities:
- You operate as the righthand person of the Group director Business Control (GD BC).
- Together with GD BC responsible for process, planning and delivery of the long-term business plan for Eurofiber Group, in which we present our plans to our shareholders. In this process you proactively challenge and help the different business units on both process to get to and the content of their business plan.
- Set-up commercial steering across the BU’s on key KPI’s such as sales, ARPU, product mix and churn, focused on improving commercial performance on both short and long term.
- Sparring partner for (a.o.) the GD BC, Group Business Controller Operations, Finance Directors in the Business Units and Group Directors Group Marketing and Products & Solutions and their teams.
- Linking pin between Group Business Control and financial teams in the business units for business planning & commercial control.
- Regular (once a month) travel to France/Belgium to align with local teams.
- Control CCO office OPEX.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate is ambitious, independent, energetic and has a strong focus on quality. Besides being a real self-starter and having a solid financial background, you are a well-balanced personality with a strong drive to succeed. You have highly developed communication skills, proactive and have a desire to really understand the business. As such, you will be able the ideal business partner and a valued colleague.
- A completed Master's degree and at least 5 years of working experience as a Business Commercial Controller;
- You are someone who wants to ‘build’, improve insights, and who likes to dig in the data to make analyses;
- You grab hold of things and don't let go until they are 'fixed';
- You are pro-active, and like to work with different (commercial) disciplines;
- To the point and able to translate a complex story into key messages (e.g. board level presentations);
- You are fluent in Dutch and English. French and German is a plus, but not required;
- Knowledge of the Telecom sector is a big plus.
