Job Description
We are looking for a Group Infrastructure Architect responsible for developing the Eurofiber fiber network architecture and technology concepts, contribute to the development of the vision of Eurofiber regarding the long term development of the fiber networks.
A quick overview of your potential new job
As an Group Infrastructure Architect, you'll play a crucial role in the development of the Eurofiber networks across Netherlands, France, Belgium and Germany. You'll be responsible for developing future-proof and scalable network concepts and technologies, ensuring that new services can be seamlessly integrated into the networks. Next to that you have a strong impact as advisor in business development, M&A and large customer projects.
Your responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain network concepts and technologies with a specific focus on network infrastructure.You will develop and maintain fiber network concepts & technologies
- You will maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, such as technology vendors, competitors, customers, Eurofiber Sr. management and technical experts internal and external.
- You will provide technical expertise and advice on all aspects of the fiber networks within the Eurofiber group.
- You will develop cost models and establish, oversee and evaluate cost-efficiency and quality standards.
- You will be heavily involved in product management and development.

Qualifications
Of course you have a deep knowledge of network architecture and can take the lead in complex technical E2E designs, combining technical understanding with business outlook You like to stay abreast of technology trends in the market and with our competitors. You think in terms of profit, loss and added value. You demonstrate financial awareness and identify business opportunities.
- You have at least 5 years of work relevant experience
- You have a University degree in the appropriate technical work field
- Deep knowledge of network architecture and experience in network infrastructure, preferably in the telecom sector
- You have contacts with relevant fiber optic suppliers
- You show independent and strong communication skills, both verbal and written in English (French, German and Dutch are nice to have).
