As a Network Planner, you are a central link within the network platform team. You initiate and coordinate all physical network projects, ranging from capacity expansions and new fiber routes to migrations and the replacement of legacy infrastructure. You maintain control over budgets, priorities, and data quality. Thanks to your analytical insight and overview, Eurofiber can continue to fulfill its role as the digital backbone of society.
You will join a professional, ambitious, and multidisciplinary team where collaboration and innovation are key.
Your Responsibilities
Initiating network projects such as capacity expansions, new fiber routes, migrations, and equipment replacements.
Preparing, monitoring, and managing CAPEX budgets, including forecasting and reporting.
Leading platform capacity management and handling feasibility requests, including assessing resource availability and technical feasibility.
Prioritizing projects and approving budget deviations.
Ensuring data consistency and quality across systems such as Cocon, IMS, and FotoGIS.
Collaborating closely with network architects, designers, project managers, and engineers to successfully deliver projects.
Monitoring overall project planning and reporting progress to internal stakeholders.
Coordinating operational lifecycle activities and the decommissioning of obsolete infrastructure.
Being responsible for team resource planning.

What do you bring?
A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field (e.g. Telecom, IT, Electrical Engineering).
Strong knowledge of network technologies and hardware (such as Juniper MX960, data center infrastructure, cooling, and fiber).
Experience with network planning and/or capacity management.
Strong analytical skills, a structured way of working, and the ability to set priorities.
A sense of ownership, experience in budget management, and the confidence to make decisions.
