Job Description
As Procurement Specialist it is your job to select, contract and manage suppliers that support the vital and leading digital infrastructure services provided by the Eurofiber Group.
To this end, you will take ownership of the supplier selection and contracting process. You will also maintain and build optimal relationships with your suppliers. Together with your suppliers, you will look at how they can deliver optimal value and contribute to the growth and success of Eurofiber and its customers. As such, you will play an essential role in realising Eurofiber's strategic priorities.
You are the point of contact within the Eurofiber Group organisation for procurement-related issues.
What are your main tasks?
- You independently supervise procurement processes specialising in Network & Datacenter Equipment.
- This involves taking the lead in (re)contracting suppliers based on a sourcing plan. You will also ensure thorough preparation (including procurement strategy, communication plan, needs assessment, resource planning, negotiation plan, timelines) and thorough execution (including RFx process, negotiation, stakeholder management, contract elaboration).
- After contracting, you will manage the contracts, supplier performance and supplier relationships.
Briefly put, you will have a diverse range of tasks with plenty of room for your own input!
You will be part of the Procurement team within the Eurofiber Group and will report to the Group Director Procurement, Norian Wasch. The team consists of approximately 6 procurement experts in the field of procurement and contract management with a healthy mix of experience and new talent in which we believe in the power of collaboration. To accomplish our procurement objectives, you will work closely with various virtual teams on procurement-related issues and improvements.

Qualifications

Eurofiber is driven by a continuous improvement attitude. We are looking for a team player, someone who thinks in terms of possibilities and structural solutions together with colleagues from the Procurement department. We are looking for someone with experience in a dynamic environment where things are not always set in stone and change is a constant. You have a proven track record in negotiations and procurement processes.
You also have:
- A minimum of higher professional education (HBO) or university education (WO) and a good analytical insight;
- 3-5 years of work experience in the field of procurement;
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience in the field of supplier management and procurement of network and data centre equipment;
- NEVI training (or willingness to obtain this);
- An independent and strong communicator (both oral and written) with a good command of Dutch and English. A command of French is an advantage.
