Job Description
As a Risk Officer you operate on management level and define and analyze possible risks and grasp opportunities to realize Eurofiber's strategic goals.
You are an important driver of the risk management committee of Eurofiber and will be advising the Executive Board on risk management.
A quick overview of your potential new job
Together with the business, you ensure that business activities are organized and executed in such a way, that the risks are controlled and managed within Eurofiber's risk appetite and Eurofiber’s Enterprise Risk Management System (ERM).
Other important tasks are:
- You assess processes and procedures and also design them so you can eliminate or mitigate potential risks and improve our internal control framework.
- You evaluate existing policies and procedures to find weaknesses and consider the consequences.
- You manage internal control deficiencies when where incurred and ensure that deficiencies are timely resolved by the organization.
- You implement internal control procedures in and around Eurofiber IT’s applications.
- Implement GRC Tooling within Eurofiber Group.
- You help implement solutions and plans and prepare reports and present recommendations.
- You evaluate employees’ risk awareness and train them when necessary. Communication with external auditors is key.
You report to the Director Financial Control & External Reporting, and you work closely together with the Compliance Manager.

You also have:
- proven experience in a similar role with a minimum of three years;
- knowledge of risk and internal control frameworks (for example COSO);
- experience in conducting internal control and risk assessments;
- affinity with data analytics, IT and automation;
- an analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude;
- good communication and presentation skills in Dutch and English.
